The fashion and design industry has become a knowledge-intensive sector worldwide, where the key to competitiveness lies in the use of the latest innovations in materials science, technology and information technology. The Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency, jointly with Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, has created the Budapest Design Material Library (BDML), featuring 300 of the latest and most innovative material samples from around the world.
